i need to know….i have done my Early child care education (sndt univ- mumbai)…and have 4 years of work experience..but my qualification comes to only 15 years of education…i am planning to go to the USA ( virginia) by next year. will i get a job directly related to my field or i will need to do any more studies? if yes then what will be the course that i can do to get a job for preschool teaching in the USA.

You need your BA to work in the Public School system, but you may be able to get away with only an AA or AS if you want to teach in a Private school. You also need your California Teaching Credential. I don’t know what type of education you have or what degree so I couldn’t answer whether or not you need more courses. You very well may need to go back to school here in the states to receive your degree and credential.

Providing learning opportunities, experiences. Providing good books and other materials for the child to explore. Providing lots of hands-on. Exploring, experiencing WITH them, being ready to offer assistance IF needed, and helpful in finding or sometimes providing answers to the many questions.

READING TO THE CHILD! Lots of books of different types. Being patient to stop and really look at the pictures.

Giving of your time to the child. Learning to enjoy being with them.

Sometimes tying your hands and taping your mouth shut. So you don’t help when it is not needed or wanted, when doing it themselves will be better. Not talking too much. Letting the child observe and tell what they are learning. Answering questions only when you can’t lead/guide the child into discovering the answer for themselves.

Pretty sure you need an elementary ed degree and pass the Praxis tests.

My question is should I get my bachelor degree in the same concentration as my associates degree

You’ll be more marketable if your Bachelor’s degree is in elementary or special education.

i plan to become a preschool teacher. What others requirements must i get to be a teacher in baltimore county(MD) like do i have to take any type of test test? I am already a license child care provider have been one for 3 three years now. I just need help figuring out what other requirements must i get.. if your a teacher.. dint matter from what state please help me…. my own professors dint even help this will be valuable information.. as a teacher after i get the degree what other things must i do i already have the work experience of working with children but what else do i need…………….thanks.
I am license as a daycare provider already so obtaining a certificate would be useless. I want to teach preschool, I have 11 credits left until i graduate, just need to know what steps to take after i graduate to start working in the class room beside applying to work for that school do i need to take any type of state test?

In many states you will have to complete a teacher preperation program which takes 1 year initially and often 3-5 additional classes within the first few years you teach. You will likely have to take several exams to gain entrance to the program and earn the appropriate certifications for your teaching license.

I hate to discourage you a little bit. But, you are likely 40-50 units away. Not 11.
