How to receive full amount of child support and money owed through our divorce settlement?

My ex owes me money from a divorce settlement and hasn’t paid me a dime. He also owes back child support and current child support but because he has another child from another relationship, the state of Indiana can not take out more than half of what he makes. What should I do to enforce him to pay the full amount of child support and the settlement from the divorce. Again if I take him to court what can I expect. His wages are already garnished and can’t be garnished anymore. Any suggestions?

get off your fat ass and get a job and stop trying to take his earned money i don’t know the circumstances of the divorce or relationship but it sounds to me that all you give a shit about is him giving you as much money as possible.

Whats the difference between Child Tax Credit and Child Benefit?

My son is 16 and about to go to 6th Form College. I am a single parent and have been recieving Child Tax Credit but I have been told that this is to stop in August. His school tell me I should recieve child Benefit. Quite honestly its all greek to me.

Child Benefit is a universal benefit paid to anyone whilst Child Tax credit is means tested.

Both are payable provided the young person is under 20 (not 18) and is in full time non advanced (upto "a" level" standard) education or certain types of training.

Given your circumstances you should be receiving/claiming Child Benefit and the same with tax credits, athough tax credits is means tested (you have to be on a very high income to get nothing by the way)

Pre School Bangalore: A wonderful world of fantasy- kkblr.com

Education is the cornerstone of success and it begins in early childhood with the first portal of learning – The Pre-School. If statistics are any index, then ninety percent of the human brain is developed by the age of three years and near complete development has occurred by the age of five years – which makes preschool the most impressionable of all the learning institutes that the growing child would attend in the years to come!

Learning is best when teachers and parents work together, so help the teacher understand your child by sharing the concerns, insights and information about your child. Regular communication can bridge the gap between preschool and home. Keep the teacher informed regarding any changes in the circumstances at home such as moving to a new house, birth of a sibling, death, hospitalization, or divorce.

Before sending the child to the preschool, find out what all child needs to take in the bag in terms of drinks, food and other personal items. Label child’s clothing and equipment with their name to help prevent the confusion and loss, as it can be upsetting for the child. Be prepared for the accidents, and pack a set of labeled clothes so that children can feel comfortable in their own clothes. Most parents do more than they realize to support their child’s journey toward reading Education is the cornerstone of success and it begins in early childhood with the first portal of learning – The Pre-School. If statistics are any index, then ninety percent of the human brain is developed by the age of three years and near complete development has occurred by the age of five years – which makes preschool the most impressionable of all the learning institutes that the growing child would attend in the years to come!

Don’t refer to the process as “hard”. If children worry, as many inevitably will, that they’ll never learn to read, you can respond with a comment like one of these:

  • It may seem hard right now, but you are still little.
  • I’m sure you’ll be a wonderful reader some day.
  • When you go to school you’ll have teachers whose job it is to teach you how to read.
  • As you get older it will get easier and easier.
  • Enjoying books is an important part of learning to read, and you really love your books!

Many parents struggle with the issue whether to send their child to the private or public elementary school. If you have a good public preschool in your area, get your child enrolled in that otherwise consider the private school.

Once you are sure about the safety and quality of the preschool, give your child enough time to get adjusted to the place, people and program. The child may initially resist due to hesitance or separation anxiety, but he or she will gradually settle down in the new routine.

Preschool Starting Tips

There is high demand for good schools, and preschools with good reputation may have long waiting list for admission. Parents must register the name of the child as soon as possible for them, and it can be as early as just after the birth. Visit various playschools so that you are aware of advantages and drawbacks of each. Before visiting, talk to your child and let him know the purpose of the visit.

Potty Training – Simple Ways To Potty Train Your Child

From gut feel and observation you can tell that the time has come for your child to potty train. You welcome this development with much relief. Problem is, you may not know where to start.

Usher your toddler in by explaining to him that all is normal to go potty. Assure him that everybody, including birds and animals, does it. Discuss to him the nature of the toilet, familiarize him to it, and make him understand that it is the place where kids like him can potty. Show him how the place works. Let him get the feel of it by encouraging him to flush the toilet himself. Explain also that soon he will be wearing undergarments instead of diapers.

You may also wish to enhance the child’s learning process by showing him entertaining and educational videos that feature how his favorite characters learned to potty. And while he is on this learning process, do get the whole family members involved so that the child will get the same message from everybody.

Find time to visit the store together with your child for the specific purpose of buying new underwear for him. Let him choose the kind of clothing he wants. It will be easier for him to learn the ropes if he gets to wear the underwear he wanted. But just the same, do not forget to guide him what kind of clothing is best under the circumstances. Restrictive or tight clothing on the one hand and oversized shirts on the other will hamper your child’s learning process. Your child can have them the moment he overcomes the potty training stage.

Be consistent on the kind of clothing he wears. Do not mix pull-ups with regular underwear or training pants, he might get confused. You may or may not reward your child’s progress, depending on your assessment of how he responds to your motivation. Plan contingent ways of handling potty problems when you are not around.

If you are availing yourself of services like day care centers for your child, discuss with the service providers or care givers your potty training program for the child. Be sure that your efforts and those of service providers complement each other.

While always ready to re-assure your child when encounters problems with the potty, praise him whenever he shows signs of progress. He soon will get the hang of it before you know it.
